Dr. Matthew Grau grew up in Iowa and has resided in Minnesota since 1999, when he began attending the University of Minnesota College of Dentistry, Division of Endodontics. In 2001, he received his Masters and Certificate of Endodontics upon completion of his Endodontic residency. Since then, he has been practicing Endodontics in Stillwater, MN.
Dr. Grau has been a sole practitioner since founding Land of Lakes Endodontics in 2004. He currently resides in Stillwater with his wife and three boys. Matt enjoys spending quality time with his family participating in various activities such as football, baseball, hockey, boating, fishing and golf.
Dr. Grau received his undergraduate degree in Biology and Chemistry from the University of Iowa in 1989. He was employed at Cargill for two years providing quality assurance as a laboratory technician. After that he worked as a research assistant for two years at the University of Iowa Hospital, Department of Nephrology, administering tests on patients. Dr. Grau subsequently attended the University of Iowa, College of Dentistry where he received his dental degree in 1998. He then did a general practice residency for one year at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Denver, Colorado to continue his training before moving to Minnesota.
It is Dr. Grau’s priority to provide high quality dental care in the specialty area of Endodontics. He is committed to keeping his skills and techniques up to date through continuing education. He maintains this support through memberships with the American Association of Endodontics, the Minnesota Association of Endodontics, as well as, American Dental Association, the Minnesota Dental Association and the St. Paul District Dental Society. Dr. Grau also volunteers his services at the local level, including the Union Gospel Mission in St. Paul, Hope Dental Clinic, St. Paul and in the past at the University of Minnesota College of Dentistry, Division of Endodontics.
